I have had three cats. I started coming to see Margo in the seventies with my bundles of joy and she has been seeing to their care since the first one. Such a great practice. Very patient and caring with the furries and their owners.

Excellent Care

We cannot praise New Malden Vets highly enough. Excellent care was given by both vets and staff towards our previous Cavalier - Toffee who we sadly lost earlier this year.  We now have another Cavalier and are extremely happy that he is going to be looked after at this practice.  We have no hesitation in recommending this vets to other pet owners.Thanking you all for making us feel so welcome.

Such a Friendly and Helpful Practice

We have been coming to New Malden Vets for over 30 years (it started as Hope and Davies), bringing cats, dogs and a variety of small animals.  It is such a friendly and helpful practice, from receptionists, nurses through to the vets.  We have received such very good care for all our animals and have felt supported and helped when coping with extreme illness and the death of an animal.  Thank you all so much for your very good care and help, especially recently with Daisy our cat.  I am sorry to be moving away from London and so leaving
the practice.  I will miss you all,  Thank you so much.

Very Pleased

Jointly over many years, and now with my own cat and dog, I have been very pleased with the care and services given by New Malden Vets. And these days I don't reside locally.

So Caring

I have been coming to New Malden Vets since 1973 with my various furry friends. Kato, Sami and Jazz have just joined the Healthy Pet plan, what a fantastic idea - good way to make sure your 'friends' stay healthy. The vets really are the Best, so caring with their patients. We wouldn't dream of ever going anywhere else.

My dog Benji has been looked after by New Malden Vets all his life. The care provided has been second to none, the staff always going the extra mile. The timely appropriate referral to an Orthopaedic Specialist gave Benji nearly ten extra years of excellent quality of life.

When the time came for Benji to be put to sleep last week, all the staff were amazing. My initial phone call explaining that the time  had come was received with great sympathy and, when we arrived, we were immediately taken into a separate room rather than having to wait in the main waiting area. I was given all the time in the world to prepare myself and say goodbye. They even brought in a cosy blanket to ease my dog's old bones.

The whole procedure was clearly explained to me in advance and at every stage and was carried out with compassion and empathy. I was not rushed at any point and was able to be with Benji and comfort him until it was all over. At no point was he distressed or scared. It was such an easy passing of an old friend who had given me such joy for nearly 16 years.

The hand written condolence card I received the next day was a much appreciated final caring gesture. I cannot recommend your service enough, you are all a credit to the profession.

We lost our precious Lizzie just last week. Just the day before we knew it was going to be time for her to leave us we decided she should gently go to sleep at home. The best decision ever. She lay between us on the settee as she did each evening.

Such compassion from Claire and her assistant. Also many thanks to Liz for looking after Lizzie in her last weeks.

We have been with New Malden Vets (Hope and Davis) for 45-48 years - that says it all; thanks to all the staff.

We are very grateful

I would like to say thank you very much to Jackie for all her help with Georgia. Without her help we wouldn't have got this far and there were a lot of times when I worried that things wouldn't work out. Now Georgia is more or less like any other cat (except much better than most!) and she is happy and fantastic to have around. So we are very grateful (including Teddy most of the time!) and thank you again.

- Hilary Clark

Your dedicated service and the time you spent preparing us all - not least my precious dog Barney for his last painless moments - will always be remembered. I nursed my parents in their last days, and no doctor came close to the humanity your vet and nurse showed our old dog with his crooked legs and his sightless eyes, in that last hour or two.
I'll ring you when it's my turn to go!

Faith and hope

Special thank you to Lucy for giving us faith and hope for a little longer for our beautiful big old dogs, Opie and Nuki. Very helpful and positive consultation, much appreciated!

- Kip Trevor

My cats are much less stressed

Most animals feel anxious visiting a vet but my two cats are so much less stressed now that they are separated from the dogs in the waiting room. The atmosphere of calm is quite noticeable and very beneficial for both cats and owners. A very welcome, and imaginative, improvement.

Expert care

We are extremely grateful to all the vets at the practice for their expert care in looking after our 3 year old cat, Xena, but we are particularly grateful for the thoroughness of Margo Scott, who examined Xena for an unrelated symptom, gave her a once over, and discovered a tumour in her jaw at such an early stage that it was possible to operate and leave her almost as good as new (missing some jaw and a couple of teeth) but with a very good prognosis. These tumours are usually found too late to operate or can be operated on but will not give a cure. So a big thank you to Margo and all the vets at New Malden.

My cats love coming to the vet

My cats love coming to the vet. Sometimes I think they get into scraps just so they can come for a visit.
