Who we are
New Malden Vets is a modern, well equipped small animal practice located in the centre of New Malden. We treat cats, dogs and small pets.
As owners ourselves we know that our pets are part of the family, and how important it is to be involved in their care and well-being. Our aim is to work with you to provide high quality care, treatment and vet advice, whether your pet needs major surgery or a routine but important checkup and vaccination.
The practice is managed by Clinical Directors Victoria Weston and Elizabeth Starritt, who have been with the practice for many years. They took charge of the business in 2016. They are helped by experienced assistant vets and dedicated veterinary nurses, plus a support team on reception. A lot of staff members have been with the practice for many years, which means we get to know our clients well, and familiar staff care for our patients from puppy and kittenhood through to old age. Our team are encouraged in their career development and attend courses to keep them up to date. We are a veterinary nurse training centre.
New Malden Vets is accredited by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Practice Standards Scheme, which means:
We are the only vets in New Malden to be accredited, and are proud of this achievement. The practice was refurbished in 2012, and shortly afterwards was awarded a Gold Standard ‘Cat Friendly Clinic‘ status, the first clinic in Surrey to be accredited.
We offer a full range of clinical and diagnostic services.
We are based in New Malden, Surrey, just off the A3. We’re very close to Wimbledon, Raynes Park, Worcester Park, Coombe, Kingston, Surbiton, and Tolworth. We’re a 10 minute walk from New Malden Station and on the 131, 152 and 265 bus routes.
